On the trail of the glass art of the Gorizia area

The exhibition, held in the Giardino dell'incontro of the Provincial Museums of Borgo Castello and the Museum of Fashion and Applied Arts in Gorizia, is part of the SPF Interreg Glass Routes project. It tells the story of glass production in the Trnova Forest, now in Slovenia, but in the 18th century part of the County of Gorizia and Gradisca within the Habsburg dominions.

Completing the exhibition, a slideshow of photographs by Massimo Crivellari runs at the museum entrance. These images recount the silent beauty of the Tarnova Forest, the place where this story took shape and where the profound connection between nature, work, and memory can still be felt today.

The exhibition will be open to visitors throughout the summer. Ends 31/08/2026.
