Friulian Culture Week

Since 2014, The Friulian Philological Society (Società Filologica Friulana) has organized the Friulian Culture Week, a series of events promoting the historical, linguistic and artistic heritage of Friuli. The initiative brings together institutions, associations, public bodies, libraries, universities and local communities through a rich programme of conferences, exhibitions and cultural events. It encourages cooperation among organizations engaged in preserving and promoting Friulian culture, fostering dialogue between tradition and modernity. Supported by major cultural and regional institutions, the programme concludes each year with the traditional Fraie de Vierte spring celebration. The event ends on 17/05/2026.
