CULTURAL EVENT ON THE 60TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE CHERRY FESTIVAL

We invite you to a cultural event celebrating the 60th anniversary of the Cherry Festival, honoring the long-standing tradition, creativity, and rich cultural heritage of the Brda region.

On this occasion, the Dablo Art Society will open an exhibition marking its 20th anniversary, presenting works of art in the pop art style featuring cherry motifs. The exhibition will be on display at the Piano Nobile until September 16, 2026. The program also includes an exhibition by the Briški časnik, which, on its 30th anniversary, presents a selection of Cherry Festival covers as a reflection of its visual and historical image.

The evening will conclude with a concert by the Brda choirs, with a musical program dedicated to Brda, cherries, and nature. In between, recitals by students of the Alojz Gradnik Dobrovo Elementary School will enrich the program.
