ARDOR OR THE SOUL OPEN TO THE SUN

Concert for church bells for the city of Gorizia by Llorenç Barber, conducted by Montserrat Palacios.

On May 23, Gorizia will host Spanish composer and artist Llorenç Barber (Valencia, 1948), a living legend of Spanish experimental music, renowned worldwide for his concert for city bells. The concert will involve the cathedral as well as numerous bell towers and bells in the historic center.

The preferred listening area will be the castle due to its central location, but the concert will be accessible throughout the Borgo Castello and surrounding areas. Everyone will be able to create their own listening experience while walking through the streets of the city center.

The bells will be played by the Campanari del Goriziano/Pritrkovalci Goriške/Scampanotadôrs dal Gurizan, and by the Scampanottadôrs Furlans, who will participate in the workshop led by the artist himself along with the director Montserrat Palacios.
